My model favors the Kings. Sure the Kings are bad and they are without Bagley but the Wizards are not much better. The Wizard’s have the splashier names in Beal and Westbrook and both team’s defense are non existent to go along with high octane offenses. With that said, let’s examine them in a vacuum. With Bagley as the only new injured player, i like that Haliburton will surely get more of Bagley’s minutes in a smaller lineup. Bagley is sporting a negative 3.4 BPM vs Haliburton’s plus 2.1 and that is a net-plus for the Kings. I think it will be a close scoring game so i bought a half pt (-120) earlier for ease of mind. Sacramento at +3.5.

My model favors the Suns. The Pacers coming off of a tough road loss to the 25-13 (good for 2nd in the pacific division) LA Lakers last night. They were leading through three plus quarters, only for the Lakers take the lead, and then take the win along with the half point cover. Now less than 24 hours later, on the road again and up against a relatively healthy Suns’ team sporting a 25-11 record for 1st in the most competitive pacific division – rough. Phoenix at -6.5.

My model favors the Grizzlies. The Wizards’ best player is coming off of a Sunday night ASG in Atlanta where the nightlife is thriving, a couple of days off may not be enough. The Memphis defense really surprised me in the first half of the season. They are ranked 9th in point per game allowed. I think Jonas Valanciunas will have a big game against the center-by-committee approach of the Wizards. Lay the points.
